The office has never been the whole story. Off the clock, I swim competitively for the Menlo Masters Swimming Team, with five USMS national top-ten finishes, cycle through the Bay Area hills, help with care of service dogs during their multi-year training before being paired with a disabled U.S. veteran in need, and spend as much time as I can with my family.

Family has been a constant through every version of my career — including the version of me that almost didn’t leave a stable corporate job to found a startup with two young kids at home. That decision, and the people who backed me through it, mattered as much to how things turned out as any deal I’ve negotiated.
