I’m a Palo Alto-based C-level executive, founder, and advisor. Over four decades I’ve built and scaled technology companies spanning telecommunications, industrial manufacturing, cybersecurity, and AI.
I’m currently President of Crick Co., an independent advisory practice serving boards, investors, and early-stage companies, and a Limited Partner at MVP Ventures. I served as CEO of Patero, a post-quantum cryptography company protecting critical infrastructure and federal networks, from November 2022 to April 2026, and continue to work with Patero today as a freelance Commercial Agent, driving sales and client relationships for the company’s quantum-safe encryption solutions.
I previously spent seven years as SVP of Sales and Marketing at Falkonry, an industrial AI company, where I drove 285% average annual sales growth. Earlier in my career, I founded Ribbit Corporation, a cloud communications platform sold to British Telecom for $100+M in 2008, and worked as a VoIP product leader at AT&T and NorthPoint Communications. I also spent nearly five years in the paper industry as an engineering and product-line leader, designing new manufacturing processes and products while running product-line P&L.
I began my career as a U.S. Navy nuclear engineer, managing the design of reactor control systems for the USS Seawolf submarine. I hold a BSEE from Duke University, an MBA from Duke’s Fuqua School of Business, and an MS in Nuclear Engineering from Bettis Reactor Engineering School.
